I owned a 96 Probe but it was the GT with the Mazda 2.5l V6 and 16” wheels. I thought it was a good handling car and loved taking it through the twisties but the experts on the FP have told me it was terrible so YMMV. I’m not sure about the price. The price does seem a little high for how old it is but I don’t know what the market is.

I had a 96 GT as well. I loved that car and it was a ton of fun in the corners.

Just got a 95 gt 5 speed for 500 bones. Needed brake job in front and clutch slave was going out but runs great. I already have wheels and tires done and starting some paintwork. ran it around the twisties nearby and held the road well.

Edit: forgot -salvage title from minor front damage but 98000 original miles!
